Ha channel only, 18 subs at 10 minute (3 hours)
A tough object to process when trying to extract the wispy detail.
This object was perfect for honing one's curve skills in Photoshop.
If revisited, more subs at a longer duration are needed.



NGC6888, Captured 7-5 and 7-7-10
Ha, OIII, OIII assigned to RGB
9 minute subs, 3 hours each channel, (6 hours total)
Atlas mount, 480mm Megrez at 384mm (f4.80
Captured using Nebulosity, guiding by PHD, Atlas mount contolled
by EQDIR/EQMOD and Starry Night Pro.


IC1396/VDB142, 6-27-10
SII, Ha, OIII. Sbig ST-2000. Atlas mount, Megrez using Nebulosity,
PHD guiding and EQDIR/EQMOD.  Finally some decent weather.  9 hours
total capture time.




Gulf area of NGC7000, captured sometime in 2009.  I went back to
the data  in April 2010 to see if I could do something with it.  A short
session of capture time was enough to make it work.   Ha, OIII, SII
using the Sbig on the 1000mm Newtonian.  Same mount, capture
and guide programs as in the above image.



NGC 2237, Rosette Nebula, 12-3-08
SII, Ha, OIII. Sbig ST-2000, Atlas mount, Megrez triplet Fluorite 80/480
at 400mm fl. Captured using Nebulosity, guiding with PHD, mount
controlled by EQDIR/EQMOD.  Will add up the total time as many frames
were lost due to passing clouds.



California nebulaNGC 1499, California Nebula, 11-15-08
Ha channel, Sbig ST-2000, Atlas mount, Megrez triplet Fluorite 80/480
at prive.  Capture using Nebulosity, guiding with PHD, mount controlled
by EQDIR.  2.5 hours of out of focus capture time, third quarter moon.




NGC281NGC 281, Pacman Nebula, 11-14-08
SII, Ha, OIII. Sbig ST-2000, Atlas mount, Megrez triplet Fluorite 80/480
at prime.  Capture using Nebulosity, guiding with PHD, mount controlled
by EQDIR and Starry Night Pro.  90 minutes each channel, full moon.





M45M45, 10-26-08
A bad night on this one.  False color using 30 minutes of Lum (20 at 90 seconds).
Sbig ST-2000, Atlas mount, Megrez triplet Fluorite 80/480 at 400mm fl.
Captured, pre-process Nebulosity, unguided.

Celestron ASGT mount.





Also somewhere in 07, Cygnus Loop using a Canon Rebel XT (modified) on
the 80mm Megrez.  Celestron ASGT mount.    42 seconds, binned. For lum, 135@73 seconds.
